Pengaruh Motivasi Kerja dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai di BPKAD Kabupaten Lampung Timur

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan menelaah sejauh mana motivasi kerja serta upaya pengembangan sumber daya manusia berperan dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai pada Badan Pengelola Keuangan dan Aset Daerah (BPKAD) Kabupaten Lampung Timur. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada fenomena rendahnya penyelesaian tugas, tingginya tingkat absensi, serta ketidaksesuaian kompetensi dengan jabatan yang menunjukkan perlunya peningkatan dorongan kerja dan kualitas SDM. Penelitian menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode sensus terhadap seluruh pegawai yang berjumlah 50 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang telah melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil analisis memperlihatkan bahwa motivasi kerja dan pengembangan SDM memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, baik secara terpisah maupun bersamaan. Motivasi kerja terbukti menjadi variabel yang paling dominan, dengan nilai koefisien determinasi gabungan sebesar 81,4%. Temuan tersebut menegaskan bahwa penguatan motivasi internal dan peningkatan kompetensi SDM merupakan faktor penting dalam mengoptimalkan kinerja pegawai.
