PENGARUH MUTASI DAN PROMOSI TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI DI KANTOR DINAS KETAHANAN PANGAN KECAMATAN MUARADUA KABUPATEN OKU SELATAN

Abstract


Human resources played a crucial role in government agencies. In both government and private institutions, it was not only expected that employees were capable and skilled but also willing to work diligently and strive for optimal results. Simply put, by implementing employee mutations in suitable positions and motivating employees through promotion, it could lead to good employees performance. With the organization's strategies to improve employees performance through mutations and promotions, the Office of Food Security in South Oku Regency was no exception. Based on data analysis using multiple linear regression, the research results showed a coefficient of determination (R2) value of 0.952 for Mutation (X1) and Promotion (X2). This indicated that 95.2% of the Employees’ Performance at the Office of Food Security in South Oku Regency was influenced by mutations (X1) and promotions (X2), while the remaining 4.8% was influenced by other variables not mentioned in this study, such as skills and knowledge (Kasmir, 2018;189). Meanwhile, the partial and simultaneous testing results showed a significant influence of Mutation and Promotion on Employees Performance at the Office of Food Security in Muaradua Subdistrict, South Oku

Regency.
